Caleb and Olivia built a marble game track that Caleb didn't tire of using, to see where the marbles would go. Unfortunately, grandpa tried to move the thing and it collapsed in a heap. Caleb was really frustrated, but his dad came to the rescue and helped him rebuild.
On our return journey, we stopped at a farm north of Atascadero belonging to Patty's long-time friend Daphne and her husband Ray. They grow almonds, raise alpacas, and make soap. It was quite a change of pace and we learned a lot.
